From the town of McKinley, take F32 east for 6 miles unitl you arrive at the stop sign at Au Sable Road, then take a right and proceed 2.3 miles to Federal Route 4001. Turn right and the 4001 bridge is 0.4 miles ahead. The access site is adjacent to bridge.
Wading water is available, and anglers should use caution. Good presentations to use are dry flies, nymphs, spinners and crankbaits. Parking is available for multiple vehicles.
