From Chase Bridge head south to Hickey Creek Trail, then east to leline Road. Take Leline road two-track trail left to the turnaround and walk down to the river along an unimproved path, veering away from private cabin. Anglers should be aware of private parcels in this reach and stay in the river.

Cobble, gravel and sand substrate are all present in this area. A moderate walk of about 5 to 10 minutes from the parking lot takes the angler to the river through a lowland spruce and cedar swamp. This is in the Mason Tract of State forest land.
