From Roscommon, take M-18 to Chase Bridge Road and turn left (north). Continue on Chase Bridge Road for about 2.3 miles until you cross the bridge over the river, turn right on the gravel road (Mason Tract Trail) after the bridge and then turn right again onto a two-track after about .6 miles.

Cobble, gravel and sand substrate are present here. This is a popular location to fish. A walk of less than 5 minutes from the parking lot takes you to the stairs along the river. This is in the Mason Tract of State forest land and many anglers will take the paralleling Mason Tract pathway to fish this area both upstream and downstream.
