From Chase Bridge, go .2 miles north on Chase Bridge Road. Turn right on the gravel road and turn right again after 2.7 miles. This turn-off is .3 miles past the road entering from the west. Follow the road as it curves to the left after .1 miles. Over the next .3 miles you will find parking for about a dozen vehicles and a walking path to the river. To reach the river here, you will cross the hiking trail followed by a swampy stretch.
Cobble, gravel and sand substrate are all found here. Large sandy turnaround for about four vehicles after traversing a long very narrow two-track is available. A moderate walk takes the angler to the river. This is in the Mason Tract of State forest land.
