From the town of McKinley, take Evans Road south over bridge, then left or east on Forest Road 3999 (South River Road). Take this road east approximately 2.5 miles to Forest Road 4841, Then take Forest Road 4841 left (or north) a short distance until it ends at the river.
Wading water is available, and anglers should use caution. This is a scenic river reach. Good presentations to use are dry flies, nymphs, spinners and crankbaits. Parking is available in this forest road ending for a handful of vehicles. This is U.S. Forest Service property, so federal laws apply to land.
